Attendee/Participant Agreement
Halò!
This wee Participant Agreement (“Agreement”) is all about making sure we’re on the same page for the Decatur Celtic Festival (“Event”). It’s between you and your organization (“Participant”) and the folks running the show (“Organizer”) as of January 1st, 2024. By participating, you agree to the following:
- What You’ll Do:
a. Follow the Rules: Stick to the local laws and play nice with everyone.
b. Keep it Neat: Keep your area tidy and safe for everyone.
c. Great Stuff Only: Aim for greatness in your area of participation.
d. Be Kind: Treat everyone with respect – attendees, other vendors, and us!
e. Stick to the Plan: Follow our guidelines for setting up, running, and packing up your belongings. - What Not to Do:
a. No Sneaky Sales: Stick to what you’re supposed to sell.
b. Booze Rules: Don’t sell alcohol unless we’ve said it’s okay and it’s all legal.
c. Keep it PG: Nothing offensive or inappropriate, please.
d. Noise Control: Keep it chill – we don’t want to disrupt the party. - Consequences:
a. First, a Heads-Up: If you slip up, we’ll give you a friendly warning.
b. No Second Chances: Serious or repeat offenses might mean we have to ask you to leave.
c. Legal Stuff: If things go really south, we might need to get legal. - Keeping Things Safe: You promise not to make any claims against us if something goes wrong during the Festival because something happens to you or your belongings.
- A Waiver to Top it Off:
For you and anyone on your team at the Event, you waive any claims against the Organizer of the Event, and anyone associated with them. This includes any bad stuff (accidents, injuries, or damages) that might happen during the Event. You know there are risks, like falls, weird weather, or even food issues, and you can deal with that. Also, you’re okay with the Organizer using any photos or videos of you to promote the Event. You don’t need to check them out beforehand or anything. - The Final Bits:
a. Changes: If we need to change something, we’ll talk about it first.
b. The Law: We’re following the rules of Wise County, Texas, USA.
c. This is It: This Agreement is what we both agree to – nothing else matters.
Mòran taing! (Many thanks!) Let’s make this Festival incredible together!
